I’m a proud Wonnarua woman working on Awabakal Country, and a Newcastle-trained doctor offering both private and public care. My private rooms are located at Newcastle Private Hospital, and I also work at John Hunter Hospital.
I offer obstetric care to women and birthing people across the Hunter region, and welcome gynaecology patients – including women and non-binary people – willing to travel to Newcastle.
I’m deeply connected to this region and to my community. My culture is at the heart of the way I care – guiding me to listen first, advocate strongly, and always offer respect. I’m passionate about creating a space where every person feels safe, supported, and seen – particularly First Nations women, LGBTQI people, and neurodivergent patients.
My training includes working with some of Newcastle’s most respected specialists. I’m a trauma-informed practitioner, a strong believer in choice and autonomy, and an advocate for making high-level, evidence-based care truly accessible.
I work closely with my midwife, Mel, and together we aim to build a care model that’s wraparound and collaborative – supporting people through pregnancy and beyond. My long-term goal is to grow the practice to include more midwives and care providers, and to offer bulk-billed private services for mob, including colposcopy and culturally safe care for Elders. I’m also committed to increasing cervical screening rates among First Nations women to help close the gap.

Inclusive, trauma-informed and culturally safe obstetric and gynaecological care.
What to expect
When you step into my practice, I want you to feel at ease -
like you've found the right place.
Care with me is warm, collaborative and grounded in trust. I understand that for many people, seeking care around reproductive or sexual health can bring up anxiety – especially if you’ve had bad experiences in the past. That’s why I focus on creating a space where you feel genuinely safe, heard and in control.
You’ll be involved in every decision. I take the time to explain your options in plain language and make sure you’re comfortable at each step. Where possible, I offer choices – not directives – and I’ll always honour your autonomy.
If you’re nervous about cost, language, or just unsure what to expect, please know you’re not alone. These are common concerns, and I’m here to help talk through them with compassion and transparency.
My practice is trauma-informed, which means I assume that people may carry past experiences into the room – and I work hard to ensure nothing we do retraumatises or disrespects that. Your emotional and physical safety come first.
My midwife, Mel, plays a vital role in the care I offer. We work closely together to provide continuity, support and connection throughout pregnancy. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, we’ll be right beside you.
From the moment you get in touch to the moment you walk out the door, I want you to feel empowered, respected and cared for.
